New Galoshes!

After all the rain we've been having...And, continue to have, I decided to get Luke some rain boots. Or, as Elmo so clearly pointed out on Sesame Street this year- galoshes! How fitting that the day after I get him some, Sesame Street has an entire episode around them! :) Poor Luke being the outdoorsy kid that he is, has been getting very tired of being cooped up inside. Finally, there was a chance to take him outside during a break from the downpour. (I did take him out when it was sprinkling, ending in him having a mini-meltdown and laying on the ground. Apparently, I wasn't the one that was supposed to be holding the umbrella, only him.) The pictures are from earlier today when the rain broke for an hour. Enjoy!
I love splashing in the puddles with my hands, too!
Walking in these is a little tricky, Mom. (They are a little big.)
Here, let me help you by closing the gate on you.
Oohhh, what is this on the ground? Could it be a baby snail? (Later, we found the baby snail crawling around in our house...) I'm surprised he even found it with all of the fallen leaves from the past several days. I'm so glad that our association has beautiful trees that fall mostly into OUR yard, making it more of a hassle to clean during fall/winter. But, they are beautiful.
I love being outside. Let's continue walking around a while while the sun is peeking through Dad!
