Like Sand Through the Hourglass...

Some pictures of Luke...

Yes, he is sleeping in his bathtub!
Gotta love some baby butt!

Getting ready for the CU football season!

Well, Sunday marked the 8th week since Luke arrived! Time has most certainly flown by and we are loving every minute of it. (Even when I'm tired at his 5am feeding...strange how his 2am feeding I'm not.) On Friday, Luke will be getting his first "real" round of shots other than the initial shot when he was born. Needless to say, I am already anxious about the whole thing. Of course, I am fully aware of the fact that Luke will never remember these early immunization shots. But, the inital reactions he will have, will be more scarring on me, than him.

I forgot to post in my previous posts that I was pink slipped and laid off from CUSD. And, have decided to take this opportunity to change career paths and begin nursing. Like the saying says, when one door opens... I have 4 required prerequisites that I will be taking at Saddleback before applying to Concordia's accelerated BSN program. Fingers crossed that my alma mater will accept me for the program (and that I pass the four classes with good grades!) I am really excited for the potential opportunity to go into medicine!
