Yesterday was Luke's 2 month birthday. We are enjoying every minute of it, even when he is cranky and doesn't want to go down for bed (like right now for instance!). We love him to pieces and are constantly amazed and grateful for the gift we have been given. Everyday is something new with Luke, right now he is discovering body parts. He has discovered his hands and tongue. He enjoys making bubbles and clicking sounds with is tongue. And, of course when he sees his hands (right now mostly his right hand seems to be of interest) he stares at them and puts them directly in his mouth. He smiles more and more every day and we cannot wait until he is just all smiles! He is growing daily and weighs a ton! At his 2 month well-baby check-up he weighed 12 lbs 8oz. That is a huge growth spurt from the 6lbs 11oz just 2 months ago (and when he was a week old 5lbs 14oz)! We are looking forward to the road ahead and what each new day brings with Luke.
