My Big Boys

Today I took Ryan to his 3 month appointment. As of today, he is 3 months and 3 weeks old. He is measuring 26 inches long and 15.8 pounds. He is quite the big boy. Especially, considering, Luke is 30.7 pounds as of today. I should really get around to measuring his height again. As of the last doctor's visit, it was 32.5 inches. That was two months ago and I know for sure he has grown since that time. He is at the point where his shorts that were fitting him perfectly a few months ago from his cute little toddler chunkiness, is now loosefitting because instead of growing out, he is now growing up! Ryan is growing so fast it is really amazing. He is trying every day to roll over. He can roll over from his tummy to back (although, he doesn't attempt too often, thankfully!) and is working hard at working from back to front. I have a feeling that within the next week or two he will be rolling everywhere. As his pediatrician, Dr. Shannon says, "he's going to be dangerous soon!" It will be much more difficult to lay him down and walk away and know he won't roll and hurt himself. Almost there! That darn arm is keeping him from rolling completely over.
Grandma, Luke and Ryan trying to beat the heat. This was Ryan's first time in the pool. He is wearing the same outift Luke did in the same pool two years ago! Typically, this pool is so cold, we end up just going in the "big pool." But, it was so nice, we played here the entire time. Luke was so excited to go in this pool for the first time. He was able to run his own show and thought it was so cool that he could walk around and squat, hop, etc.
Grandma and Ryan. Ryan obviously was not exactly sure of what was going on. He loves baths...perhaps being all wet with clothes on confused him!
