The end of summer is drawing near... It is so bittersweet, as usual. I love being home with my little ones, just doing whatever we please. This summer, we have been enjoying walks down at the harbor twice a week (to get outside in the fresh air and some excercise for me!), going to the pool, playing outside in the sun (Luke in the sun, Ryan and I in the cool shade). But, as usual, the summer has gone by WAY too fast and I feel like I haven't really had time to relax. Although we have taken time to enjoy the weather, we have also been busy doing errands and other miscellaneous items around town. Hopefully, my days teaching full-time will be numbered. I did try to get my job back part-time, but my principal was told that there could be no part-timers in middle school this year. It really is unfortunate because all I really wanted was one class less so that I didn't have to rush after school to get my kids and even an hour less makes all the difference in the world. I have been really bad about taking pictures with the camera of things that have been going on. So, apologies now are in order because all of my pictures are from my camera phone. I will try to post a picture or video of Ryan rolling around. A day after my last post, Ryan had successfully mastered rolling from back to front. Now, he has almost mastered front to back! It really is great to see. With one BIG exception. He now wakes himself up at night because of the rolling! Practice makes perfect, but really...does it need to be practiced in your sleep little man? It is hindering both of our good night's sleep! :)
