Feeling Kinda Blah...

For the past few days Luke hasn't been feeling 100%. He hasn't been feeling terrible, but not great either. We feel so bad for him when he's not feeling well. He just isn't his usual happy self. He has this cough that just won't go away and has now made him sound like he has a slight touch of laryngitis. Most of the time, he is ok. But, he has bouts of a coughing fit that sometimes make him gag and vomit. Luckily, for me, it doesn't bother me. Zac on the other hand could deal without. We started off our day today doing well...he was happy and smiling. He even seemed to be getting his appetite back this weekend, which was nice to see. That is, until we were leaving the mall and then back to square one. Coughing fit = Luke getting sick ALL over himself. Poor little dude! (Too bad, because it was a nice outing for us all. Zac used up a Christmas gift card for some nice shirts to wear at his new job. We had lunch at Nordstrom Cafe, which we always enjoy. And, Zac surprised me with a purse I've been eyeing! What a lovely surprise! I even surprised Luke with a little "chipper" sugar cookie from Paradise Bakery! Yum!)

Luke not in the mood to get his picture taken. Two minutes prior he was having a tantrum because he wanted to go and hang out in our bedroom. I was being a mean Mommy and not letting him.
Luckily, his favorite show, "Timmy Time" is always on DVR for such moments... Thank you Timmy Time for helping my little dude get out of his funk and back into a better mood! And, when Luke isn't feeling well, as much as I don't want Luke watching tv, it helps keep him settled when he should be resting.

As of today, I officially have 13 days until my actual due date. I am starting to become uncomfortable as Ryan seems to have taken up precious space and giving me minimal lung capacity. My doctor thinks I will most likely be early as I was with Luke. Which is what I figure will happen as well. I just hope that Luke is feeling better by then. :) I will have Zac take a picture of my belly when we get a chance. Although, I don't look different than the last picture I posted.
Tomorrow is Zac's first day at his new job. We are both excited for the new change! Not only is Zac going to be working close to home again which means no more 2 hour commutes one way (which means more family time), but he will also have a management position. He has been wanting to start moving into more managerial positions and this was a perfect opportunity! It doesn't hurt that the company has great benefits, so if I don't get my job back next year (which could be a possibility with the RIF process once in full force again...) it will be one less thing to worry about. Yay!
So, other than Luke not feeling great and my growing discomfort, things are going well. Just waiting for the newest member of the family to arrive! I can't wait to see Luke be a big brother. I just know he will be a fantastic one.
