Snow Day

We decided to take a mini-adventure to the local mountains today to play in some snow. We love that Mt. Baldy is so close (about an hour drive from our house) that we can go for an hour or so and not feel like we are gone all day. Thankfully, there was a storm that went through Southern California and dusted the area with some beautiful snow. Lexa came with us on our trip and had a great time as well. Of course, we brought Amber to romp around as well. Enjoy the pictures! PS...Don't be jealous of my hat! I forgot mine at home... :)
Luke's very first attempt at making a snow angel...
Practicing his sitting skills on the cold snow.
Although grumpy at first (not pleased about getting bundled up), he enjoyed his first encounter with the snow.
Amber was pleased to be visiting the snow.

Apparently, I wasn't looking in the right direction. Something must have been fascinating to our right. :)
Lexa telling Luke something very important. He wasn't so sure about the idea...

No, we did not make the snowman. But, what's snow without one? We couldn't get Amber to face Lexa for any pictures. This was the best one.Luke was very interested in the white stuff...
Oh, so cute!
