Hawaiian Holiday

For some reason, I put the pictures in backwards...sorry. Also, more pictures to follow.

I am so glad to be off that long flight, guys!
My big cousin, David is so cool!
Ooh, baby pineapple!
David on the Pineapple Express...not to be confused with the movie. :)
We both wished we had our SLRs and zoom lenses on this day. Our little camera could only do so much. The photos do not do these big waves any justice!

David and Uncle Zac waiting for the next set to roll in.
One of the smaller waves we saw that day.
Luke watching the people more that the water in between sets.
Luke playing with new blocks and Will helping.

Zac, Luke and I went to visit my brother and his family for Christmas. We enjoyed spending time and playing with our nephews while we were there! It was also great to see where they live and enjoy some sights of Oahu. I haven't been there since I was a freshman in high school, so it was great to revisit that island from a different perspective. Christmas brought 30+ foot waves to the North Shore which is about 15 minutes away from Chris' house. It was an amazing sight to see, as it's not very often you get to see such amazing waves. We also visited downtown Waikiki , Waimea Valley and the Dole Pineapple Plantation while we were there.

It was Luke's first Christmas, and we think he had a wonderful time! He did a great job opening his first present from Santa. Zac thinks he gets that from him. :) Luke absolutely adored his oldest cousin, David. No matter what mood he was in, David managed to get him to laugh and smile. It was absolutely adorable! David is such a great big brother to Will and a fantastic big cousin to Luke! Will has recently begun to walk, so Luke of course was watching him and trying to learn what he could. Of course, I am not too happy about his desire to walk before crawling but, I'm hopeful that he will learn how to crawl soon enough! He did, however, learn how to pull himself up to a standing position. Zac and I promptly have moved his crib mattress to the lowest setting possible to eliminate any chances of him crawling out (because he is already trying).

We hope you all had a blessed and joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
