Today was Luke's first swimming lesson! It was great! There were only 3 babies in the class, so it was a very small group. Luke did wonderfully (until the last dunk underwater freaked him out a bit). He was able to float while gently holding his head and is learning how to comfortably hold his breath underwater. Although he can hold his breath, he tends to just keep holding it all the while looking freaked out. It takes a good 10 seconds for him to realize he can breathe again. It is actually kind of funny, but I don't want him to be so scared. :)
The instructor was great and really sweet and kind to the babies! Luke was the only boy!
All in all, I think today was a great lesson and he had a good time as you can see from his last picture. :) Enjoy!
