What a whirlwind the past week has been! In a matter of a day, I went from being unemployed with no job in sight to being called up on Thursday afternoon to see if I wanted to take a school-site substitute postition at CVHS. It was a hard decision to make as I not only had to drop my Anatomy class, but most importantly, being away from Luke. I ended up taking the job because it made me feel more comfortable earning a salary.
Yesterday marked my first day as a resident sub and it was surreal. It is definitely different being on a campus where I went to school. I am now a collegue to my old teachers! I definitely like being on a high school campus and will try and study for the science CSET. Who knows, maybe I will become a high school teacher one day if my nursing dreams don't come true!
