Today was (honestly) the first day where I have been in true discomfort due to pregnancy. I always heard people mentioning how uncomfortable they were towards the end of their pregnancies and I didn't doubt them, but to be quite honest didn't feel any sympathy. (Probably because I was trying so hard to get pregnant.) Now, I am not feeling bad for myself, but now I empathize and understand. Today was a hard day, my stomach hurts from growing, legs hurt from standing too much and back hurts from both. Note to self- try to stay off your feet more at work (as best you can). I guess I will have to make the kids start coming to me a bit more these next two weeks instead of me coming to them. :) It does make it difficult to get a nice walk or gentle work out in when you are hurting. (insert "Garden State" quote here... "Conundrum.")
On a brighter note, Zac and I were able to see Elisha and her beautiful baby Averie! She is quite adorable and Elisha looks fabulous! I cannot wait for Averie and Luke to grow up together, I foresee fun trips to the mountains, Broncos games, and rival CSU vs CU games in the future! Once I get a picture from Elisha of us, I will post it!
