Father's Day

This year for Father's Day, we went to Laguna Niguel Regional Park to go fishing. We invited my Dad and Grandpa to come along. (We both come from a long line of fishermen! ;)) Luke's first trip fishing was Zac's first Father's Day three years ago. Of course, Luke was only a month old, so he did not partake in the festivities. So, this year, he was able to fish for the first time. It was such a great experience for everyone. Zac, my Dad and Grandpa were so thrilled to be able to see Luke hold his first fishing pole and reel in the fish he caught. Funny thing is, he was the first one to catch any fish. Luke was not afraid of anything (part of the time was trying to keep him OUT of the lake and reeds!) and even liked holding the fish he caught once he helped reel them in. It was very cute and all of the boys donned their fishing hats. Ryan of course, was too small to do anything, so he and I just hung out and watched the boys enjoy themselves. We hope all of you dads out there had a wonderful day.

Luke trying to have a tight grip on the fish, Zac trying to make sure that the little fish was not crushed to death... Luke really wanted to walk around with the fish and was not afraid one bit!
